Weekly US Grain Exports Fall
Grain
Combined US exports of corn, soyabeans and wheat fell by 1.5 Mt week-on-week to 2.8 Mt in the seven days to 11 February, US Department of Agriculture (USDA) data reveal, although they remained above the year-ago level. The decline was mainly driven by a drop in outbound shipments of soyabeans, which fell by 1.2 Mt to 1.0 Mt, the lowest weekly level since September 2020. Exports of corn (-0.2 Mt to 1.4 Mt) and wheat (-0.1 Mt to 0.4 Mt) also declined on a weekly basis.
