Growth in Chinese House Prices Eases in December

Average annual growth in sales prices of newly constructed commercial residential buildings in 70 large and medium-sized Chinese cities slowed to 3.7% in December 2020 from nearly 4% in November, data from the National Bureau of Statistics show. Annual growth has softened in each consecutive month since May 2019.
