US Steam and Coking Coal Exports Diverge in November

US steam coal exports (excluding those to Canada) edged up 0.2 Mt year-on-year to a nine-month high of 2.8 Mt in November, according to the National Mining Association. By contrast, coking coal exports declined 0.6 Mt to 3.0 Mt. In January-November steam and coking coal loadings shed more than 10 Mt apiece to total 21.2 Mt and 31.7 Mt, respectively.
