Weekly US Corn, Wheat and Soyabean Exports Decline
Combined US exports of corn, wheat and soyabeans fell to 3.3 Mt during the seven day period ending 31 December 2020, down 0.9 Mt from the previous week to the lowest level since late September, according to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). However, recent shipments were stronger than levels below 2 Mt recorded in the equivalent period a year earlier.
Soyabean exports dropped 0.6 Mt to 1.9 Mt in the final week of 2020, while those of corn were down 0.3 Mt to 1.0 Mt. Wheat shipments were nearly unchanged at 0.4 Mt.
