Brazil Manganese Ore and Bauxite Exports

Brazil exported 0.3 Mt of bauxite and 0.2 Mt of manganese ore in June, with bauxite exports reaching the lowest levels since February 2020, official export data showed.

Bauxite exports were down from 0.4 Mt in June last year and 0.5 Mt in May, while for manganese ore exports volumes were down 0.1 Mt year-on-year but up slightly from May.

In the 1h21, bauxite exports totaled 2.5 Mt with manganese ore exports reaching 1.2 Mt. This compares with 2.1 Mt and 1.4 Mt a year earlier.
