Oil
China’s diesel exports rose 181K b/d m-o-m and 326K b/d y-o-y to 582K b/d in June, rebounding after previously falling to a five-month low in May, according to China customs data. This increase comes as refiners boosted shipments following the record level of oil processing that took place during June, with China’s refinery capacity being bolstered as some facilities restarted operations after completing scheduled maintenance, Reuters report. Exports of jet fuel also climbed by 94K b/d m-o-m and 37K b/d y-o-y to 237K b/d, the highest level since April 2020, whereas loadings of gasoline fell by 14K b/d m-o-m to a six-month low of 406K b/d.
