Queensland Coal Exports Hit 6-Month High

Coal throughput at the key Queensland ports of Abbot Point, Dalrymple Bay, Gladstone and Hay Point in June hit a combined 18.0 Mt, the highest level since December’s 18.7 Mt but down slightly from 18.4 Mt recorded in the same month last year, port authority data showed.

At 99.9 Mt, January-June throughput was down from the 103.6 Mt recorded for the same period in 2020.
