Thailand’s crude oil imports fall to three-month low

Thailand’s crude oil imports declined by 146K b/d m-o-m and 186K b/d y-o-y to 787K b/d in June, falling to the lowest level since March after previously reaching a five-month high in May, according to data from Thailand’s customs department. Arrivals from the Middle East decreased by 75K b/d m-o-m and 163K b/d y-o-y to 428K b/d, with loadings from West Africa also falling by 59K b/d m-o-m to 59K b/d. Imports from North America increased by 30K b/d m-o-m to 64K b/d, a three-month high, while shipments from Asia rose by 92K b/d m-o-m to 213K b/d.
