Brazil May Soyabean Exports

Brazilian soyabean exports reached 16.4 Mt in May, up from 14.3 Mt in the same month last year but down from the record 17.4 Mt exported in April, official customs data showed.

Soyameal exports meanwhile were 1.8 Mt, to bring the total soya (beans and meal) export volume for May to 18.2 Mt versus 16.1 Mt in May 2020 and 18.8 Mt in April.

Elsewhere, sugar exports hit a seven-month high of 2.7 Mt, up from 2.6 Mt a year earlier and 1.9 Mt in March.
