China May Iron Ore Imports

Iron Ore

Imports of iron ore by China reached 89.8 Mt in May, down from 95.7 Mt in the same month last year, official export data showed.

This is the lowest level since February when China imported 86.1 Mt and compares with 98.6 Mt imported in March.

Total imports since the start of the year now stand at 472.0 Mt, up from 445.5 Mt a year earlier.
