China’s Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index Steady

China’s official manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) hit 50.9 in June, down slightly from 51.0 in May and unchanged on the same month last year, official data from China’s National Bureau of Statistics showed.

This was a four-month low for the index but still above the 50.0 mark that separates growth from contraction.
