The 2.3 Mt annual rise in Brazilian iron ore exports to 24.0 Mt in February was largely driven by a 2.7 Mt increase in shipments to China to 15.3 Mt, customs data show. There was also a 0.6 Mt rise in exports to the Philippines to 1.1 Mt. Shipments to European/Mediterranean destinations fell by 0.4 Mt to 2.5 Mt, while an increase in cargoes to Bahrain helped lift exports to the Middle East to 1.8 Mt
