Brazilian Trade Data in February

Brazilian exports of iron ore rose by 2.4 Mt year-on-year in February to 24.1 Mt, preliminary trade data reveal. At 53.0 Mt, exports in the first two months of the year were 4.7 Mt above the corresponding period in 2020.
Meanwhile, the country’s exports of corn climbed by 0.5 Mt annually to 0.8 Mt. By contrast, combined exports of soya beans and meal fell by 1.6 Mt to 4.0 Mt.
