China’s Purchasing Managers’ Index in February

At 50.6, China’s official manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) in February fell by 0.7 points from the previous month, data from the National Bureau of Statistics show. Nonetheless, monthly readings have remained above 50.0, which indicates expansion, for a twelfth consecutive month.

Meanwhile, the country’s steel sector PMI scored 48.6 in February, up 4.3 points month-on-month.
