Iron ore stockpiles at 42 monitored Chinese ports fell by 3.1 Mt week-on-week to 130.6 Mt in the seven days to 30 April, the sharpest weekly fall since mid-June 2019, data from U-Metal showed.

However, despite the drawdown, stocks remain above the 114.2 Mt recorded in the corresponding week of last year
