Japan April Iron Ore Imports by Source

Japan Imported 10.5 Mt of iron ore in April, with 6.6 Mt imported from Australia and 2.2 Mt imported from Brazil, official preliminary trade data for April showed.

Imports from Australia were broadly unchanged on the year, but from Brazil they fell by 0.2 Mt.

From India, they rose from less than 0.1 Mt in April 2020 to 0.3 Mt, and from South Africa volumes hit 0.5 Mt versus 0.4 Mt a year earlier.
