New High for Chinese Crude Steel Output

At 97.9 Mt, Chinese crude steel production climbed by 13.4% year-on-year in April to reach a new monthly record, data from China’s National Bureau of Statistics showed.

Total output in the January-April period reached 374.6 Mt, up 15.8% year-on-year.
