April steel production in Vietnam hit 2.8 Mt, up by 52.2% year-on-year, according to Vietnam Steel Association data reported by SteelOrbis.

In the January-April period, steel production reached 10.5 Mt, up by 38.3% year-on-year with steel exports over the same period reaching 2.2 Mt, up 67.8% year-on-year.
