Chinese Rebar and HRB Prices Plummet

The domestic price of rebar in China has tumbled more than $70/t since the beginning of the month to reach $685/t on 16 November, the lowest level since March 2021, data from World Steel Dynamics reveal. The domestic price of hot rolled band (HRB) also experienced a sharp drop over the same period, down $80/t to $635/t.
