Indian refinery runs reach seven-month high in October
Oil
Indian crude oil refinery throughput increased by 510K b/d m-o-m to 4.96M b/d in October, rising for the second consecutive month to the highest level since March, according to data from the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC). While this is also an increase of 610K b/d y-o-y, throughput remained down by 230K b/d compared to 2019 levels. Refinery runs have been supported by recovering demand for transport fuels amid the festival season as well as alleviating COVID-19 restrictions, Argus reported.
