South African steam coal exports (including anthracite) fell by 0.7 Mt year-on-year in September to 6.1 Mt as a steep decline in shipments to India countered higher exports to European destinations, South Korea and Taiwan, trade data show. At 48.4 Mt, exports to all destinations in January-September were down by 6.4 Mt on the same nine months last year.
