Turkish Coal Imports Rise

A 0.4 Mt annual increase in steam coal shipments from Colombia to 1.8 Mt helped lift Turkish coal imports to a five-month high of 3.6 Mt in September, according to trade data. Coking coal imports were almost unchanged year-on-year at 0.4 Mt, as a jump in shipments from Australia offset lower cargoes from Canada and the US.
