Brazil September Manganese Ore and Bauxite Exports

Brazil exported 0.4 Mt of bauxite and 0.1 Mt of manganese ore in September, with manganese ore exports dropping to the lowest level since April 2020 and bauxite shipments to a three-month low, official customs data showed.

Year to date bauxite exports now stand at 3.8 Mt, and for manganese ore at 1.4 Mt. This compares with a respective 3.3 Mt and 2.5 Mt in January-September 2020.
