Chinese Crude Steel Output Tumbles in September

Chinese crude steel output tumbled 21.2% year-on-year in September to reach 73.8 Mt, the lowest daily average since December 2018, data from the National Bureau of Statistics reveal. At 805.9 Mt, production over January-September was still up 2.0% on the corresponding period in 2020.
