Oman crude production rises for seventh consecutive month
Oil
Oman produced 764 K b/d of crude in September, up 8 K b/d m-o-m, yet still 15 K b/d lower that the OPEC+ quota of 779 K b/d, Argus reported, citing official energy ministry data. The rise in output is the nation’s seventh consecutive monthly production hike. However, production has remained under quota levels as Oman attempts to compensate for over production from earlier in the year. Condensate production, which is exempt from OPEC+ quotas, remained roughly in line m-o-m at 219 K b/d in September.
