Queensland Coal Exports Hit 7-Month Low

Coal throughput at the Queensland ports of Abbot Point, Dalrymple Bay, Gladstone and Hay Point totalled a combined 15.6 Mt in September, the lowest level since February’s 15.5 Mt and down from just under 16 Mt a year earlier, port authority data show.

At 149.5 Mt, January-September throughput was down from 151.9 Mt in the same period in 2020.
