US Hot Rolled Band Price Falls

The US hot rolled band (HRB) steel price fell by $19/t in the two weeks to 27 October to $2,124/t, the first time the price has fallen since July 2020, according to the latest SteelBenchmarker from World Steel Dynamics.

The domestic HRB price in Western Europe also dropped, down $10/t to $1,190/t, although was still almost double the year-ago level.  The Chinese domestic HRB price fell by $25/t to $753/t.
