West Africa’s crude exports to Asia increased by 76K b/d m-o-m and 21K b/d y-o-y to 2M b/d in September, rising to the highest level since June, Energy Intelligence reports. Eastbound loadings from Angola edged up by 2K b/d m-o-m to a four-month high of 961K b/d, supported by shipments to China which jumped by 152K b/d m-o-m to 863K b/d, the highest since November 2020. Exports from Nigeria increased by 11K b/d m-o-m to 446K b/d, with shipments to India rising by 39K b/d m-o-m to 320K b/d, whereas loadings to Indonesia fell by 92K b/d m-o-m to 31K b/d.
