Combined coking and steam coal (including anthracite) exports from Australia in August reached 33.0 Mt, an eight-month high and up 0.8 Mt year-on-year, official customs data show.

Coking coal volumes reached 14.5 Mt versus 14.0 Mt a year earlier, while steam coal exports hit 18.6 Mt compared with 18.2 Mt last August.
