Brazil exported only 2.9 Mt of corn in September, down sharply from 6.4 Mt a year earlier and the lowest level for the month since September 2014, official customs data showed. Volumes were also down on the 4.4 Mt exported in August.

Soyabean exports for the month came in at 4.8 Mt, up from 4.3 Mt last September, while soyameal exports totalled 1.4 Mt, down slightly from 1.6 Mt last September and the previous month.
