Brazilian Steel Output at 34-month high in August

At 3.1 Mt, Brazilian crude steel production reached the highest monthly level since October 2018, data from the Brazilian Steel Institute showed. Production was up from 2.8 Mt in the same month last year.

In terms of exports, August steel products exports hit 0.9 Mt, up slightly on the same month last year.
