US Weekly Grain Exports Rise

US exports of key grains and oilseeds are showing signs of recovery following Hurricane Ida, but volumes continue to lag year ago levels, data from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) showed.
Combined corn, soyabean and wheat exports reached just under 1.6 Mt in the week ending 23 September, a five-week high but down close to 1 Mt from the volume exported in the corresponding week of 2020.
