Vietnam exported 4.3 Mt of cement and clinker in August, up 0.2 Mt year-on-year, official customs data showed.

China was the largest recipient of Vietnamese cement in the month with volumes registered at 2.5 Mt, broadly unchanged on the year ago level.

The Philippines and Bangladesh were the next largest importers, with 0.5 Mt registered for both.
