In June, Canadian coal exports (excluding to the US) fell 0.1 Mt from the same month last year to 3.2 Mt, McCloskey data show, as higher coking coal exports were countered by a reduction in steam coal shipments. At 2.7 Mt, coking coal exports rose by 0.4 Mt on the back of increased cargoes to South Korea and China. Shipments to the latter reached the highest monthly level since 2013 in June at 1.1 Mt.
