Crude steel production at China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills fell sharply in the period 21-31 July to 1.9 Mt, down 7.3% from the preceding ten days and 10.3% below the same period last year, according to the industry association. Late July recorded the lowest output since November 2021.
