Vietnam’s crude imports fall to three-month low in January

Vietnam’s crude oil imports declined by 129K b/d m-o-m to 131K b/d in January, falling to the lowest level since October after previously reaching a five-month high in December, customs data showed. Despite falling to a three-month low this is still an increase of 48K b/d y-o-y however. Oil product imports declined by 19K b/d m-o-m and 77K b/d y-o-y to 146K b/d, with arrivals from northeast Asia falling by 17K b/d m-o-m to 44K b/d.
