Brazilian Iron Ore Exports Fall in December

Brazilian iron ore exports fell by 1.7 Mt year-on-year in December to 31.4 Mt, the fourth consecutive month of decline, preliminary customs data show. Nevertheless, robust shipments in the 1h meant 2021 exports were still up by 17.9 Mt annually at 359.1 Mt.
Soya exports (beans and meal) from Brazil jumped by 3.3 Mt year-on-year in December to 4.5 Mt however, corn shipments continued to underperform with exports down 1.6 Mt at 3.4 Mt.
