Queensland Coal Exports Slow in December

Combined coal throughput at the four Queensland ports of Abbot Point, Dalrymple Bay, Gladstone and Hay Point slowed to the lowest level since February 2019 in December at 15.4 Mt, down by 3.2 Mt year-on-year, port authority data show. At 197.6 Mt, full year 2021 shipments were 4.1 Mt below the year before.
