Brazilian Iron Ore Exports Fall

Brazilian exports of iron ore fell to 19.3 Mt in February, down 4.8 Mt from the same time last year and the lowest monthly total since April 2019, according to official data. Shipments have now fallen in seven of the past eight months.
Meanwhile, Brazilian soya (beans and meal) exports more than doubled year-on-year in February to 7.9 Mt. This included the highest February on record for soyabean shipments at 6.3 Mt, up 3.6 Mt year-on-year. However, exports of corn fell slightly from the same month last year to 0.7 Mt in February as they continued their seasonal decline.
