Colombian steam coal exports rose 0.1 Mt year-on-year to 4.3 Mt in February, according to McCloskey data. Shipments to European and Mediterranean destinations grew by a combined 0.6 Mt to 2.9 Mt, there was also a slight increase in exports to the Americas to 1.2 Mt. In contrast, shipments to Asian destinations fell 0.7 Mt to 0.1 Mt, the lowest since November 2019.
