U.S. Crude Imports Rise in Latest Week

The US imported 6.32M b/d (+552K b/d w-o-w and +664KK b/d y-o-y) of crude oil during the week ending 4 March, 148K b/d of which came from Russia, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) weekly data report. The US banned Russian oil and gas on 8 March as its part of sanction measures responding to Russia's conflict with Ukraine. The US did not import any Russian crude oil in the last week of February.
