Turkish imports of steel scrap fell 0.2 Mt year-on-year to 2.1 Mt in March however, the 1q22 was 0.2 Mt above the same three months last year as a result of a strong January, according to Turkish customs data. Shipments from the US jumped 0.3 Mt year-on-year to 0.5 Mt in March, while cargoes from Russia were down sharply and no steel scrap was imported from Ukraine.
