Chinese Steel Production Accelerates

Daily crude steel output at China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills accelerated to the highest rate since June at 2.15 Mt in the period 11-20 September, up by 2.2% from the preceding ten days according to data from the industry association reported by SteelOrbis. Production was also well ahead of the year-ago level of 1.99 Mt/day.
