Indonesia’s gasoline imports reach seven-month high in December

Indonesia’s gasoline imports increased by 38K b/d m-o-m to 405K b/d in December, rising for the second consecutive month to the highest level since May, according to the government statistics agency Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). Shipments from Northeast Asia increased by 34K b/d m-o-m to 44K b/d, the highest level since last May, while imports from Southeast Asia rose by 6K b/d m-o-m to a seven-month high of 318K b/d. Diesel imports increased by 70K b/d m-o-m to 128K b/d, rebounding after falling to a five-month low in November.
