India’s crude imports ease in December

India’s crude oil imports eased by 20K b/d m-o-m and 30K b/d y-o-y to 4.62M b/d in December, data from the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) shows. Across 2022 crude imports averaged 4.58M b/d, which is an increase of 340K b/d y-o-y. Diesel exports rose by 90K b/d m-o-m to a three-month high of 580K b/d in December, while gasoline shipments also increased by 100K b/d m-o-m to an eight-month high of 340K b/d.
