India’s refinery throughput jumps to seven-month high

India’s crude oil refinery throughput increased by 540K b/d m-o-m and 240K b/d y-o-y to 5.32M b/d in December, the highest level since May, according to data from the Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC). Across 2022 refinery runs averaged 5.09M b/d, which is an increase of 290K b/d and 590K b/d compared to 2021 and 2020 respectively, however this is down from the 5.12M b/d recorded in 2019.
