Taiwan’s crude imports ease in December

Taiwan’s crude oil imports declined by 90K b/d m-o-m and 70K b/d y-o-y to 750K b/d in December, customs data showed. Arrivals from the Middle Ease fell by 200K b/d m-o-m to an eight-month low of 450K b/d, whereas shipments from the Mediterranean rose to 100K b/d after no barrels were imported from the region in November. Across 2022 crude imports averaged 830K b/d, which is an increase of 60K b/d y-o-y.
