China’s crude imports from Russia reach record high in February

China’s crude oil imports from Russia increased by 120K b/d m-o-m and 600K b/d y-o-y to 2.01M b/d in February, rising for the second consecutive month to the highest level on records dating to 2008, China customs data showed. Shipments from West Africa rose by 80K b/d m-o-m to a nine-month high of 930K b/d, whereas imports from the Middle East fell by 70K b/d m-o-m to a five-month low of 5.12M b/d.
