Combined coal throughput at the four main Queensland ports of Abbot Point, Dalrymple Bay, Gladstone and Hay Point fell 1.8 Mt year-on-year to 12.4 Mt in February, port authority data show. While the Blackwater rail closure affected railing to Gladstone, with throughput down 2.0 Mt to 2.8 Mt, Abbot Point exports rose 0.8 Mt to 3.0 Mt.
