South Korean coal imports declined 0.2 Mt to 9.7 Mt in February, as steam coal imports fell 0.4 Mt to 8.2 Mt while coking coal rose 0.2 Mt to 1.5 Mt, McCloskey data show. Steam coal imports from Australia plunged 1.8 Mt to 2.2 Mt, while shipments from Russia climbed 0.9 Mt to 2.5 Mt. However, coking coal imports from Australia rose 0.2 Mt to 0.9 Mt.
